The Town of Lake Lure now requires a boaters license for anyone operating a boat on the lake. The license is free, and the town allows me to issue them as one of their permit agents. To obtain the license, you need to read the Lake Lure Boater Safety Course and then take a short quiz. Click here for a link for downloading the safety course.

Once you pass the test, text me a screenshot of the completion at 813-245-1079. You can also email the passing confirmation to discoverlakelife@gmail.com if that is easier for you. Your physical Lake Lure boaters license will be given to you when you arrive. This is a lifetime license, so you will not have to renew it.
